They always say stay away from the fence and I am telling ya, I was at Crystal earlier this year, wreck had been over for 5 minutes. OOne of them Flinn Stocks burst into flames. Never seen nothing like it in my life. Some guy down there had the common sense to start moving people back. Because even though it was on fire..... they were getting closer. WHY I don't know concern probably? But the track crew was right there, they put it out real quick. heck I thought that gas tank was gonna blow up. Don't put yourself at risk when you can't do a damned thing to help. I mean if somebody is hurt and you are a doctor, that's different. Dirt track racing is taking a lot of bashing right now because of this. Listening to the mainstream media talk about "amateur" racing don't give me much hope for the future of it.

Rocky, I have a photo of that fire on the front page of http://crystalmotorspeedway.com about half way down the page. As he said, that wreck had been there for at least five minutes and it just exploded.

hate to see stewart sitting out the Michigan race. He probably doesn't want to have to face all the non racing media, bad enough the regular racing media.

Hmm I Might have heard something to the extent of that on a certain little website that could a couple weeks ago... I love how small the racing community is. I HAtE that a guy that loves racing at short tracks vs Joe Blow as much as he loves breathing air won't be able to anymore though.

and they call Tony "Smoke"....

Really, all that crap about how good he was and how serious a racer he was and how he wanted to move up to the big time. You don't do drugs if you want to be taken seriously, especially before you compete, especially before you compete in a dangerous sport, especially when the safety of others depends on your ability to perform safely. Duh!
