I've spoke with a couple people about doing a web based radio show similar to our recently departed friend, Larry Loynes' "Race Talk." Would any of you be interested in listening to such a show?

I've spoke with Big Ed about starting or restarting "Race Talk." TJ Slideways had a show on ROTW for several years and I am going to attempt to bring him back into the fold. Flipper and Brad Bergeran (forgive me Brad if I've screwed that up held what might have been a race talk show or a radio version of 'Beavis and Butthead.' For those that remember that show, you'll be giggling about it. We may have other budding talk show hosts who might do well. Maybe a couple tracks will want to do their own shows. I've tried for years to get certain people to do shows that never could seem to get into it, but they may have changed their minds about now. Let me know what might work.

We've had several people tell me that they can't post a comment. If that is you, please send me a PM via the site or email me at bmoc66@gmail.com and let me know what error message you are getting!
Thanks

I would listen to it. T.J. does a podcast with Trevor Hollis and it works pretty good.

The likelihood of me being able to tune in "live" on a consistent basis is low. A podcast, as Dave mentions, would be helpful...

I've got that handled. With the interface we use, once the show is done, it can be put either into rotation or set up to play on demand. It would take me about three minutes to put the Crystal Motor Speedway video up for replay. Same thing for a live show. It gets recorded, put into rotation, or on demand in a very short period of time.

yes I think more content is always a good thing... on the other hand...

I think the "Radio Talk Show" format is a little dated. Not to downplay the radio format, I know Larry used to bust ass to bring us that and we all loved it (and him), but I think a modern internet channel with highlights and commentary is the way of the future.

Here's a great example of how Attica produces videos, I think a condensed set of highlights and interviews in a weekly show would be awesome. https://www.youtube....h?v=K5rNTNdxS3M
Mediocre is not good enough... ever.
