caution laps why so many

late race cautions for debris, and more than one lap to clean up something that fell off a car, only reason I can think of is to give sponsor time to cars back in the field, and more commercials, Certainly screwed Jr and Gordon. I think Jr could have won, had he not gone for fuel.

If we are going to go the black helicopter route, I would say that the extra laps were to ensure noone ran out...it made the drivers that were close on fuel be able to race full out for the remainder of the race.

probably so, but I still hate it for Jr, he was so frustated, he couldn't even talk, in the post race interview.
