The6th Annual UPIR (Yooper) Fall Classic will wrap up the2015 race season at Upper Peninsula International Raceway at the U.P.State Fairgrounds this weekend.

UPIRis proud to announce Valley Med Flight as the title sponsor. Thelocal crew and helicopter will land at 6:00 PM EST on Friday,September 18 and 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 19. The landing areawill be outside of the track on the west side of the grandstand. Fans can visit with the crew, get a close look at the helicopter andreceive giveaways from Valley Med Flight.“ Brochures will beavailable on Valley Med Flight's services and memberships. Thetwo day finale kicks off Friday with pits opening at 3:00 PM EST. The grandstand opens at 5:00 PM EST on Friday with green flag racingat 7:00 PM EST. Heats for Modifieds, Street Stocks, 600Micro-Sprints, Sportsmen Micro-Sprints, Riverside Auto JuniorMicro-Sprints and Bink's Coca-Cola Sport Fours will run Friday. TuffTrucks with a $200 to win purse will conclude Friday's races.

Thepits will open at 3:00 PM EST on Saturday, the grandstand opens at4:00 PM EST and the show gets underway at 6:00 PM EST. Saturday'sslate will be LCQ's (Last Chance Qualifier) and feature races. Payouts for feature winners is $1500 for Modifieds, $750 for StreetStocks, $500 for 600 Micro-Sprints, $400 for Bink's Coca-Cola SportFours, $300 for Sportsmen Micro-Sprints and $200 for Riverside AutoJunior Micro-Sprints based on a minimum of 20 cars per class. Therewill be a payout for each racer starting the features.

Followingthe feature races on Saturday the popular Powder Puff and Mechanicsraces will run. The closing race will be a Bump 'N Run with fourcylinder cars and $100 to win.

Grandstandpasses are $7 for Friday, $10 for Saturday or $13 for the weekend, $3for children 6 to 10 and 5 and under are free. Concessions and adultbeverages will be available. No carry-ins allowed.
