Dennis Yoder recorded his 10th Mini Stock feature win of the season in he closest and most exciting Mini Stock feature the historic Mottville Speedway has had this season!
Ron Laughman led most of the race with Dustin Kline and then Yoder challenging but not getting by!
When a caution came out and forced a restart Yoder went low and was able to get by Laughman for the lead and the win!
Laughman settled for 2nd with Kline 3rd by about an inch!
Craig Johnson came home 4th followed by season points leader Aaron Zimmerman, Kris Miller and Mike Kline.
Zimmerman now has a 64 point lead over Yoder with 11 nights to go!
Laughman won the dash over Kline and Yoder.
Miler won the heat over Zimmerman and Yoder.
Dustin Kline won the consi heat over Zimmerman and Yoder.
The 2nd most exciting feature of the night was in the GLOW MODS!
Jimmy Lawson waged a terrific battle with Larry Mollahan and Jason Burris for the win!
Veteran Bob Teadt returned to the historic Mottville Speedway for the first time in many years and took 4th followed by Cole Burris, Nuke Quendag and Chris Simmons.
Jason Burris won the first heat over Jimmy Lawson and Bob Teadt.
Cole Burris won the 2nd heat over Chris Simmons and Quendag.
Ken Quimby and Don Smith were on hand but broke in hot laps.
Todd Roberts wonhis 18th Mini Thunder Car feature of the season over Ed Martz and Tyler Mead.
Results were the same in the heat.
Local Hero David Terry won his 4th Hornet feature of the season and ended Mottville Living Legend Eric Roots’ feature win streak at 3!
Root settled for 2nd followed by Flying Brian Deplanche and Jesus Santos.
Terry won the heat over Santos and Deplanche.
The Karts had the night off but will return to action next Sunday!
It was Scott Binkley’s final night as scorer and he will finish out the season in his Mutt Mobile Hornet!
AUTOGRAPHS will be from 5:30 to 5:55 PM!
Monday, September 1 is Labor Day Trophy Night!
September 7 is our next KIDS QUARTER PITCH!!
Adult admission is $10, ages 12 and under $5, Family Pass (2 adults and unlimited children 12 and under) $25.
Pit Pass is $30 but non-drivers ages 14 and under who are with a non-driving adult can buy a pit pass for just $15!
Great concessions at very reasonable prices!!
