Thanks to Buck and John of King Erectors for partnering with us to increase the Modified win amount to $1200. Kyle Tremble of GoFast Grafix has joined to increase the Limited Late Models purse by $50 for the driver that increases the most positions from start spot to finish spot. Brent Wilmont of Thelen Auto Group has also partnered with us to increase the Limited Late Models purse 100, 75, 50, 25, 25, 25, 25, 25 for each of the top 8 positions. Weather by the hour show that the rain should stop by 2pm and a fair northwest wind should dry things up so as to get things going on schedule. If not Sunday will be dry. I'm looking forward to watching this invite either way. When would the racing start if the show ends up being run Sunday?

From Whittemore's site:

Due to the impending weather, we are pushing back the Invite schedule 1 day.

Practice will be Saturday with the pit gate opening at 3:30 with practice ending at 10.

Sunday will be Fast and Furious with the pit gate opening at 11, no engine starts until

noon. Hot laps will be from 12:15 til 1:30 with qualifying starting at 1:30 and Racing

Action beginning at 3. We hope the drivers appreciate our efforts and risk we are

taking to put the 2015 Invite on. All we are asking in return is to help spread the word

by sharing this post, post that you are racing at Whittemore Speedway on Sunday, tell

your loyal race fans, tell your friends and coworkers. I think you get the point. With

Sunday races having been no crowd in the past, it is going to take your help to end

the season with a bang. Thanks for the great season and hope to see you to close out

the 2015 season.
